Easter Dinner in Provence

Never mind that the weather was a little chilly and threatened rain, I had the finest
dinner in memory, with a friend on Easter. It was in the elegant little restaurant, La Tour, in Avignon.

The menu:

    * Amuse-bouche
    * Terrine de foie gras, brioche aux zestes de pamplemousse, un peu de salade et son granité de vin rosé provençal
    * Gigotin d agneau (new Zélande) et sa croûte au roquefort, jus réduit au cumin, polenta crémeuse et huile de noix
    * Faisselle de la fromagerie du Mont Ventoux servie avec une confiture maison
    * Légèreté d orange en croquant d amandes et sorbet chocolat

Too bad I didn't have my camera with me; besides being exquisite examples of fine cuisine, each plate was a work of fine art.

    I wish I would have been with you on that occasion...the menu looks so..."appétissant".
